This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights available to you under the Kingdom of Bahrain's Personal Data Protection Law, Law No. 30 of 2018 ("PDPL"), overseen by the Personal Data Protection Authority (PDPA).

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact details you provide through our Contact Us form, email or WhatsApp — such as your name, company name, email address, phone number and the content of your message;
  • Job application details submitted through our Careers page, including your CV, certifications and work history;
  • Business and billing information needed to prepare quotations, invoices and service reports for inspection, calibration, trading and IT services;
  • Technical data collected automatically, such as IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited, typically through standard web server logs; and
  • Cookies used to operate the Website (see Section 6).

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to enquiries and provide requested quotations or information;
  • To deliver our inspection, testing, calibration, trading and IT services and manage the resulting business relationship;
  • To process job applications;
  • To comply with legal, regulatory, contractual and health & safety obligations relevant to our industry; and
  • To maintain, secure and improve the Website.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data on the basis of your consent, the necessity of processing to perform a contract with you, our legitimate business interests (such as responding to enquiries and operating the Website securely), and compliance with our legal obligations, consistent with the principles of lawfulness, fairness and transparency set out in the PDPL.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:

  • Employees and contractors who need the information to perform their duties;
  • Trusted third-party service providers (for example, hosting, email or payment processors) acting on our instructions and under confidentiality obligations;
  • Regulators, certification bodies or government authorities in Bahrain or other jurisdictions where we operate, where required by law; and
  • Professional advisers such as auditors or lawyers, where necessary.

Where personal data is transferred outside the Kingdom of Bahrain (for example, to group offices or service providers abroad), we take reasonable steps to ensure it continues to receive an appropriate level of protection.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, including to satisfy any legal, accounting or reporting requirements, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized.

6. Cookies

The Website may use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences and understand how visitors use the site. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect certain features of the Website.

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Subject to the conditions set out in the PDPL, you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Request erasure of your data, where applicable;
  • Object to or request restriction of certain processing; and
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

To exercise these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 10. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with Bahrain's Personal Data Protection Authority (PDPA) if you believe your data has been mishandled.
