Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how Visionary Inspection and Technical Services ("Visionary Inspection", "VITS", "we", "our" or "us") handles cancellations, returns and refunds for the products (including NDT/inspection equipment and consumables sold through our Trading division) and services (including inspection, testing, calibration, TPI, training and IT services) that we provide. This Policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.

1. Services (Inspection, Calibration, TPI, Training, IT Services)

• Because our services are scheduled, resourced and, in many cases, mobilized to a client site or offshore location, cancellation requests must be submitted in writing as early as possible.
• Cancellations made before mobilization or before work has commenced are eligible for a full or partial refund of any advance paid, less any costs we have already reasonably and necessarily incurred (for example, equipment calibration, travel/visa arrangements or certification bookings), as set out in the applicable quotation or contract.
• Once a service has commenced (personnel mobilized, equipment deployed, or inspection/testing work started), fees for work already performed are non-refundable, and any refund of unused portions will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and confirmed in writing.
• If a service cannot be completed due to a cause attributable to Visionary Inspection, we will, at our discretion, either reschedule the service at no additional cost or refund the fees paid for the incomplete portion.

2. Products (Trading / Equipment & Consumables)

• Products may be returned within 7 calendar days of delivery if they are unused, in their original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase, provided the item is not a consumable that has been opened or used (for example, MPI consumables, test blocks used for calibration verification, or custom-ordered items).
• Products that arrive damaged, defective, or that do not match the order confirmation must be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery, with photographic evidence where possible, so that we can arrange inspection, replacement or refund.
• Custom-manufactured, specially imported, or made-to-order equipment is non-returnable unless it is defective or does not conform to the agreed specification.
• Approved refunds for products are issued to the original method of payment, or by bank transfer, within a reasonable time after the returned item is received and inspected.

3. How to Request a Refund or Return

We will acknowledge your request and confirm the next steps, including any inspection of returned goods, within a reasonable timeframe.

4. Non-Refundable Items

• Consumables and single-use items once opened or used (e.g. MPI ink, developers, penetrants);
• Services already performed or work-in-progress at the time of cancellation;
• Third-party costs already incurred on the client's behalf (travel, visas, certification/registration fees), unless recoverable from the relevant third party; and
• Custom or made-to-order products, except where defective or non-conforming.

5. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any right you may have under the applicable consumer protection laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, including in respect of defective or misdescribed goods and services.
